Children's painting parties

Rory thinks children of all ages like to paint and this is painting with a difference. Choose a plate, mug, bowl or themed party and invite your friends using our customized invitations. On the day, we will provide all the equipment you and your guests will need to create your own unique pot or plate and will offer some tips to get everyone started. For parties of 10 or more, everyone signs a special Rory plate for the birthday girl or boy, we take the items away to be glazed and fired so they are all fully usable and return them to you within a week to distribute to your guests. We can cater for between 8 and 15 children, all our paints are totally non toxic and washable.

Baby footprints and children's handprints

Babies and children grow up so quickly so why not create a beautiful keepsake or gift by having your baby’s foot or child’s hand printed onto one of our plates. We can arrange to have their name and date of printing painted onto the plate if you wish.

Paint a pot for special days

... such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter and Christmas.

Lve a mug events

Our Love a Mug events are a touching way for children and adults to pass their love onto someone they care about. Simply put your painted hands around one of our mugs and your print is captured forever. You can then add decoration if you like. We take away the mugs, glaze and fire them so they are fully usable and return them to a pick up point for you to collect and give to your special person. Alternatively we are able to post the items if required but there would be a charge for this. We can also arrange to come to your organisation or venue for your very own Love a Mug event. Rory thinks this would be a good idea for a fundraising event. What do you think?

Nurseries, playgroups, schools, brownies, cubs etc

Rory loves visiting children so whether it is capturing children’s handprints on plates in a nursery, showing older children how to create different effects on a mug or maybe creating a wall of tiles with every child’s masterpiece on display, he can help us cater for your requirements. We pay commission on total sales made so it is a great way to raise some money for your organisation at the same time as having some fun.

School holiday clubs / soft play venues

If you want to offer something different to keep the children entertained why not let Rory help us run a regular slot at your venue? We bring all the equipment needed to run the session we just need a table away from the main area which is large enough to comfortably seat a group of children. We pay commission on total sales made.

Celebration plates for all occasions

... such as weddings, christenings and birthdays.

These are 13" platters upon which your guests’ signatures and good wishes are cleverly transferred during the firing process. You can decorate them with a name and date or picture or whatever you like. If you prefer, we can paint it for you. These are such a fun and unusual way to mark a special day in someone’s life.

Hen parties and girly get togethers

How about a hen party with a twist? Gather all your friends together (minimum of 8 painters and maximum of 15) and let them create a dinner service with a difference for you. If you fancy an excuse to enjoy a girly get together, choose plates, mugs or bowls and let us show you some techniques to create something really unique. You are welcome to arrange your own drinks and nibbles too.

Fundraising events

We pay commission on total sales made so if you would like Rory to help raise some money for your organisation as well a giving people the opportunity to create something they can be proud of, give us a call. Whether it is a Love a Mug event to raise extra funds for your school, a stall at your summer fair where people can drop in to paint a piece or creating children’s handprints on plates, we can provide all the equipment and expertise needed for the event to be a success.

Corporate team building

A Potterdoodle experience is a great way to get the team talking about something other than work. We come to your place with everything needed to get people painting a plate or mug. All we require is a table large enough to seat your team and access to water.

Sheltered housing craft sessions

Rory thinks adults of all ages find painting very relaxing and rewarding so if you are looking for inspiration for your craft session, Potterdoodle could be just the thing. We can come along to your venue with all the equipment and enthusiasm required to help residents create something totally original. We can also discuss setting up regular sessions where residents can work on a particular piece or learn a new technique. Alternatively, what about organising a Love a Mug event?

Party to go

Whilst we normally attend your event in person, we can provide a party to go pack with instructions and everything you need to run your own Potterdoodle painting party. We require a small deposit for the paints and other equipment which is refundable on return of the items.
